BURKINA FASO

UJFRAD (Union de la Jeunesse Fraternelle de Diébougou) is an association which aims to improve life
conditions of young people. UJFRAD urges them to work and to defend the cultural and environmental
heritage (by theatre).
W : the volunteers will participate to different tasks : tree plantation, activities with children, rehabilitation of
the school and the health center.
S : in the village of Dankoble, 18 kms of the town of Diébougou.
A : collective accommodation in school
Q : very good French speaking.
X : bring a sleeping bag
FEES : 120.000 F cfa (about 183 euros), local transport costs and accommodation in Ouagadougou
excluded.

The Ententes is a non-governmental association created by farmers. It wants to be an economic alternative
for its members. Its aims are : an education work, less inequality in villages between Rich and Poor, stopping
the emigration to big cities.
W : workcamp of immersion in small rural villages. Volunteers will be separated by groups of 2 or 3 persons
and will be hosted in a family. They will participate to the daily tasks of the inhabitants.
A : by host families.
Q : very good french speaking.
T: arriving 3rd or 4th of July in Dakar
X : 75 OOO f CFA (about 114 euros), local transport and accommodation in Dakar excluded.

The association PDEF (program for the development of children and families) aim to develop the village of
Fandène, especially by reforestation and farming activities. This association also organise education about
environment and schooling of children.
W : the volunteers will help the association in its activities : computer science training for the members of the
association, writing correspondence letter with chidren who are tutored, health awareness, activities with
young, etc.
S : the workcamp will take place in the village of Fandène, 70 km from Dakar.
A : by host families.
Q : very good french speaking.
X : arriving 3rd or 4th of August at Dakar.
FEES : 70.000 Fcfa (about 107 euros).

FENAGIE is a fishermen’s federation. Its aim is to facilitate the life conditions of its members concerning
production’s trade, materials’ purchase, funds’ access and healthcare. The volunteers will be hosted by the
local union of fishermen of Fenagie.
W : the volunteers will participate to the different tasks of the community's women : oysters harvest,
maintenance of equipment, etc.
S : Félir is a village in Foundiougne district.
A : by host families or in a camp-site.
Q : very good french speaking.
X : arriving 1st or 2nd of July at Dakar.
FEES : 60.000 Fcfa (92 euros), local transport costs excluded.

FENAGIE is a fishermen’s federation. Its aim is to facilitate the life conditions of its members concerning
production’s trade, materials’ purchase, funds’ access and healthcare. The volunteers will be hosted by the
